Take a look around your bathroom.

Honestly we rarely think twice about it.

10. The Packaging Around Everything

Then there is the plastic we barely notice.

Shrink wrap. Caps. Pumps. Seals. Sachets. Outer packaging.

Individually they seem insignificant.

Together they are not.

So what are we supposed to do?

We are not saying throw everything and start over.

That would completely miss the point.

The time you finish something in your bathroom just pause, for a second.

Do I need to replace this with the same thing?

You do not need to replace everything today. Begin with the one you use up the quickest, which for most people is the shampoo bottle. Swap it for a bar or a refill of a new container and you’ve already crossed one off that list of 24.

You do not have to change your life overnight.

Sometimes sustainability starts with noticing.

Because before we can change what we throw away we have to notice what we’re throwing away.
